Jackdaws Summer School, Location: Frome, Somerset
Mark will be giving his popular Piano Summer School at Jackdaws, Frome. As in previous years, the course will appeal to pianists who have a wide range of interests and are willing to engage in activities such as:
discussion on style, how to practise, how to approach performance, exams/diplomas/festivals...
...and much more. We quite often welcome piano teachers on the course, although there is absolutely no requirement for this to be the case, and furthermore your own playing level need not be of an exceptionally high standard. It is more important that you have a willingness to get involved as an active particpant in a lively, fun atmosphere. There will be several opprtunities for you to receive tuition from Mark (in front of the other students, naturally), but this can include work-in-progress and need not be 'polished' performances!
